Mr. James Piggee Sr. was born September 15, 1938, and transitioned on April 27, 2025. His services will be held Friday May 9, 2025, from 2-7pm at Divinity Funeral Home, 3831 Main, East Chicago, IN 46312. His homegoing celebration will be held Saturday. The wake will begin at 9am and the funeral will begin at 10:30am at St. Timothy 1600 W 25th, Gary, IN 46404.

Mr Piggee was a great friend and mentor. I really got to know that from working with him at Gary City Court. He was revered by many and had many accomplishments that led to others success in life. I last seen him at the Main Library, his vision was failing him but his spirit/ energy was still strong. I will miss him very much. Condolences to the Family.
