Janice Helmus Obituary
Janice Patricia Helmus, age 67 of Dyer, IN passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Walter Helmus; children, Brian (Sara) Kroncke and Amanda (Nate) Schuyler; mother, Ann Blake; cherished grandchildren, Cali and Cooper Kroncke; brother, Joseph (Mary) Blake; Mother-in-law, Sandra Helmus; brother-in-law, Mark (Vivian) Helmus and Scott (Donna) Helmus; sister-in-law, Vicki (Steve) Nichols; many dear nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her father, Robert Patrick Blake and father-in-law, Walter Helmus, Sr.
Janice proudly served the community as a Pharmacy Technician at Fair meadows Pharmacy. She had a beautiful passion for gardening and was an avid artist. In their free time, Janice and Walter traveled around the world. She would light up a room whenever she walked in. Janice had a contagious smile and a gentle soul. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Services will be private.
