Jean graduated from Chicago Christian High School and began work as a secretary at Acme Steel. She was a lifelong member of Munster Christian Reformed Church and volunteered in various capacities. She was also a gifted oil and china painter. She will be remembered as a kind, generous and graceful woman whose gentle smile and sparkle in her eyes belied a keen sense of humor. I'm so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I loved talking to her and seeing her beautiful smile every day when I worked at Hartsfield. She always asked about my kids and loved to share scriptures with me. You all are in my prayers for comfort and the joy of knowing she is with her savior.

We called her Auntie Jean.. she was Kind, Sweet and the kind the woman the Bible says we should imitate.
We were blessed to know her and her blended family. We will miss her and the smile that always came when we went to visit . Gone to us now but safely in her Fathers arms .. in Glory.. Amen and Amen

She was a unique woman from a different era. Memories of our family meeting together after church (she would prepare lunch on Saturday because you don’t work on Sunday). She lived honorably. Can’t wait to see her again someday.
