Jennifer Armstrong Obituary

JENNIFER E. ARMSTRONG VALPARAISO, IN Jennifer E. Armstrong, 30, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at home with her family and friends by her side. She was born April 10, 1977 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, graduated from Washington Township High School in 1995 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and played basketball, volleyball and softball. She then attended Porter Memorial Hospital X-Ray school where she worked for seven years, most recently as an X-Ray Tech in the Cath Lab. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wanatah, was an avid Notre Dame fan and played in the Valparaiso Parks Softball Leagues for many years. Survivors include her mother, Joy Armstrong of Wanatah, grandparents, John and Elizabeth Krizanek of Wanatah, two uncles: John (Lydia) Krizanek & Perry (Dawn) Krizanek all of Crown Point, numerous cousins, special friends: Lynn Hunt, Kathy Klemoff and Melissa Harris, very dear friend, Victor Vaughan of Porter and her pets: Mia and Sydney. She was preceded in death by her special aunt, Irene Smolar. A funeral mass will be held Thursday 10:00 AM at Scared Heart Catholic Church, 108 Ohio St. in Wanatah, Fr. Jerry Scchweitzer officiating with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4 – 8 PM at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. Memorials donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice. Jennifer will be remembered for her special wit, her humor and the love in her laughter.
