I never met Maria but Jorge spoke of her often and so lovingly. He was filled with so much joy over becoming a father. We may not get to share that joy with him in person, but he has his son and his wife and they are together forever.

Negrete Family,
I am heart broken for your loss Jorge was a wonderful young man and his Letie was a beautiful young lady. They were so in love. I still picture them standing on my front lawn last summer holding hands. They are all together now Daddy, Mommy and baby son. I am sure they are together in heaven looking down on the family right now. Our only conselation is this is what Jorge would have wanted to be with his wife and son. I know this is no consalotion for his family but this has spared Jorge so much pain. May God give you all the strength you need to cope with this horrible tragedy. You are all in my prayers.

Jorge was not only my college room-mate, he was my friend... my family. I can not express how full of sorrow I was at hearing that he was gone, along with his most loved ones. May God grace them with peace, and his remaining loved ones with the strength to suffer his loss.

I didn't know that I can do this until recently. I would like to tell you that I will always cherish the fun times we shared. Thanks for always dancing with me. I loved that. We would just laugh the whole time without a reason. But most of all I will remember all the rides we took on Juan's bike. Those are memories. You were the only one I trusted to ride with. I miss your laugh. I know that we lost contact for a while. Having family does that, sad but true. But whatever fun times we had ( and I remember) will always be remembered. Look over your family, and when you get a chance, look over at me.

Jorge was such a dear person. He was our tech at Meijer in Mich. City from the time I started there. His smiling face is engraved on my heart and in my mind and I can still hear his voice.
