Joyce Marie Settle

Joyce Marie Settle, age 78, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt left us on September 17, 2024.

Joyce was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She was a resident of Calumet City, IL, for over 40 years. She loved to plant flowers in her yard and decorated for every holiday. She was a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan. She watched every game and you could hear her cheering from down the street!

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerry R. Radford of 27 years and Harry (Jack) Settle of 18 years; her Father John F. Tylek; mother Lucille and brother John. Joyce is survived by her siblings, Shirley Norlock, Elinor Mathews and Frank (Susie) Tylek, her daughters, Jacqueline (Christopher) Stockman, Joycelyn Dugan and Jeri Radford; her two "sons" Stephen and Nathan Curtis whom she babysat for many years and became part of our family. She has seven grandchildren, Kalei, Jorie, Jayden, Audrey, Vanessa, Garrett and Owen. And one great-grandson, Zalen.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Castle Hill Funeral Home, 248 155th Place, Calumet City, IL, 60409, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Ronald L. Kondziolka.

In lieu of flowers consider making a donation in Joyces name to St. Croix Hospice.

She was deeply loved & will be forever missed.
