Juanita Solis Obituary
Juanita Solis, 90 years, of age passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 67 years, Jesus. Children; Nick Solis, Mary (Frank) Flores, Jesse (Cyndi), Guadalupe (Judy), Joann (Marc) Glick, Angel Manuel (Elsie) and Michael (Claudia). Granchildren; Delilah, Melissa, Miranda, Jennifer, Jessica, Marcus, Zachary, Christine, Madeline, Danielle, Nicholas and Ava. Great Grandchildren; Marina, Noah, Nicholas, Lincoln, Evenice, Ezekiel Solis Donahue and Azyrah Solis Donahue. Preceded in death by her son, Bernie, Siblings; Ramon, Alejandro, Genaro Hernandez and Anna Cruz. Juanita was an active parishioner at St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial at St. Joseph/St. John Cemetery Hammond, IN. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Margaret Church Hammond, IN, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 half hour visitation 9:00 to 9:30 at the funeral home prior to the church service, Rev. Erin Garcia officiating. Visitation at Burns-Kish Funeral Home 5840 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN Friday, June 23, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Juanita will be dearly missed by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Mary Margaret Church in her loving memory will be appreciated. www.burnskish.com

Mary Lou & Family - Emmy informed me about your loss. I am so sorry to hear that. Even though it's been ever so long since I last saw your mom, I have such wonderful and fun memories of her. Her smile, her laughter, and her strong commitment to her family - and even my family. She will be missed. Do know I send my prayers and many blessings.
