Judith Biggerstaff Obituary

Judith Arlene Biggerstaff

November 9, 1944 - September 23, 2025

Judith Arlene Biggerstaff entered into heaven on September 23, 2025. Born in Brazil, Indiana on November 9, 1944 to Carl and Gladys Rickard, she married her high school sweet heart and started her family with husband Jimmy Biggerstaff who preceded her in death. Survived by sons, Tim (Beverly) Biggerstaff of St. Petersburg Fla., Keith (Christy) Biggerstaff of Valparaiso Ind., and David (Kathy) Biggerstaff of Dunnellon Fla. She's also survived by three grandchildren, Gavin Biggerstaff of Valparaiso and Kaylee Biggerstaff of Dunnellon, Ryan (Kevin) Crowe of Hobart Ind.; her brother, Ted (Aleta) Rickard of St. Petersburg and sister Carla (Bob) Reibly of Portage Ind., she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Miller and Carolyn Alsip both from Brazil, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews. She was so proud of her sons and grandchildren, they gave her life immense joy.

Judie was a Christian women who's faith was paramount in her life. Attending church services and being an active member of her church was important to her. A singer from an early age she won various singing competitions as a young girl and later recorded her own country gospel album "Messages from heaven" with her own original songs, followed by a release of additional songs on cassette release and converted to CD.

Judie was always a friend to those who needed one and was always willing to spread gods word. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Ours hearts are broken for her loss but she's rejoicing with those who've left this world.

Services to be held at Sorensen Funeral Home, 3180 30th Ave. St. Petersburg, Florida on September 30th, at 10 a.m.
