Julia M. (nee Lekovich) Radowick

RADOWICK, Julia M. (nee Lekovich), passed away September 13, 2025.

Beloved wife of late Sam Radowick, Jr. for 58 Years. Loving mother of Sam J. (Desa). Adored Baba of Nadia (Farris) Miller and Alex Radowick. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and kumovi. Preceded in death by parents, John and Mary Lekovich; brother, Lazo Lekovich; and sister, Violet Peart. The family has a special Thank You for Julia's caregiver, Charleen Nakazwe.

Julia was an active Member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, Lansing, a sister of the Church Kolo for over 50 Years, and a member of the Serbian Seniors Club.

Funeral services Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 186th St., Lansing, Ill. 60438. Julia will lie in state at the church from 9:30 to the time of the service, at 10 a.m., with Very Rev. Aleksandar Savic officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, Ind. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 8 p.m., and Pomen service 5 p.m., at Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th Ln, half a block West of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th St, St. John, Ind. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church is preferred.
