Karen Pazour-Sonnenberg Obituary
July 15, 1959 - May 21, 2025
Karen passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side.
On April 4, 2023, Karen remarried and was enjoying retired life in her much-treasured desert home.
Karen is survived by her husband Ray and her two sons, Kevin (Gabrielle) Pazour, and Korey Pazour/ his fiancé Aliss.
Also surviving is her mother Theresa (Tom) Kristek, brothers: Tom, Todd, David and sister Kristen Kristek.
Others surviving Karen are her stepchildren; Mellissa Chavez, Randy (Kim) Sonnenberg, Melanie Cohen and seven grandchildren from her husband's family.
As a grandmother, Karen always had a surprise waiting for her grandkids when they visited and she loved them immensely.
Karen was a very kind and loving woman, and she possessed an adventurer's spirit and a Gypsy's soul.
She was truly fond of her faithful protector "Bocephus", whom she chose at first sight from the local shelter.
Karen loved her family more than anyone could know.
Karen asked that her cremains be taken by family to her favorite place in Death Valley.
Smile down upon us from your home in the stars, we love you "Gypsy Girl"
