Keith Miller Obituary
Keith Miller, age 87, of Calumet City, IL, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. He is survived by two loving sons: Mark Miller of Hammond and Bruce (Noreen) Miller of Mattawan, MI; two grandchildren: Heather and Aaron; one brother, Lynn (Barbara) Miller of Spring Hill, FL; two sisters: Lois (late Donald) White of Hammond and Karen (Joseph) Sarsfield of Hinsdale, IL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Dorothy; and brother, Donald J. Miller. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Roy Beeching celebrating the Mass. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Mr. Miller was a graduate of Hammond High School, class of 1941. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. He retired from Keyes Fiber Co. after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Calumet Area in his loving memory. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends.
