Kenneth Crum Obituary
Kenneth "Randy" Crum, 51 of Manteno, IL passed away suddenly Friday, June 16, 2017 at his home. He was born March 7, 1966 in Augsburg, Germany to Kenneth and Judy Crum. Randy was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was currently working as a supervisor at Hines V.A. Hospital. He had previously worked at Ford Motor Company. Randy was a member of the American Legion and was an avid Cubs Fan. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and motorcycle riding. On August 16, 2015, Randy married Lana Rechkemmer who survives along with his children: Amber and Kenny Crum; step-daughter, Danielle Hanshew; grandchildren: Alisa and Hunter Coots; parents, Judy and Gene Schweitzer and Kenneth and Jeannie Crum; and two brothers: Chuck and Jamie Crum. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christina Crum; daughter, Samantha Crum; and his grandparents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL on Friday at 10:00 AM. Memorials may be made to the family.

May God Bless Kenneth "Randy" Crum and May the Good Lord console every member of his Family. I thank this U.S. Army Veteran for his service to his country when America and Freedom needed him. "O, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave? O'er the Land of the Free...And the Home of the Brave!"
