HOBART, IN - Kevin C. McCord, age 60, of Hobart passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born on February 9, 1963, to the late David George and Carole A. (nee Owen) McCord. Kevin was a Local 150 retiree, where he worked as an Operator. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
He is survived by his five children, Carolyn (Joey) Fair, Brandon (Bridgette) McCord, Kevin (Holly) McCord, Nichole (Joe) Sebella, Satin McCord and Jessica McCord; 10 grandchildren, Mariah (Byron) Wilson, Kaleb Feighner, Cyron Davis, Emilee and Mavric Corbett, Alexia, Brandon and Noah McCord, Parker and Deakon Demott-McCord; sister, Marcia (Rod) Ruess; brother, Michael (Diana) McCord; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lowell, father, David G. McCord and mother, Carole A. McCord.

Oh, I do remember Kevin! Marcia, I remember your mother coming to see me to warn me that if I needed help to call her, but I never had to do that. I also remember that it was Kevin McCord who showed such care for me on Foreman School's Kite Day when I showed up with my toddler, Beverly. . .he took the string of her kite at set it sailing! I know he cared for me as his teacher too. I was happy to read of his wonderful family. God bless you all and know my prayers are with you.
