Miss Krolo was my third grade teacher in 1980-81 at Our Lady of Knock. (Her second year at OLK.) She was a wonderful, kind, caring teacher who always went over and above to make learning fun and meaningful for her students. I have many fond memories of her class. She taught us macrame during our recess (my Mom kept my blue and white plant holder for years and years), loved science and did many fun experiments with us, showed us photographs of the Black Forest, and taught us words in German, (which I remember thinking was so cool). Miss Krolo had a lasting impact on the lives of her students. Her passion for what she did was evident. I can only hope that my students will have the kind of memories of me that I have of her 30 years from now.
My sincere condolences to your family during this very difficult time. Your Mom/Wife touched many lives in such a positive way. She was a very special person. My prayers are with you.

My deepest condolences on Kim's passing. We were in the same class at Seton back in the 70's, and what a surprise when she was my daughter's teacher at Our Lady of Knock. I saw Kim a few years ago at a mutual friends daughter's graduation party and she looked wonderful. So upbeat and happy and shared her happiness regarding her wonderful family. Know that you were the most important part of her life and she was so greatful to have all of you. You are in my prayers. She was a really good person, thank you for sharing her with all of us. Our children benefited from her love for them.

Dear Mike, Jackie, and Katie,

My deepest sympathy on the passing of Kim. She was a wonderful teacher, friend, and wife/mom. I hope that you all know that you three are and were the most precious gifts in her life. I remember her telling me about meeting you for the first time, Mike. How happy she was! I remember your wedding and when she came to Our Lady of Knock School and announced that she was expecting a child- how happy she was and that child was named, Jackie!

I would not see Kim often after I lift knock but when I did it was just like old times. We talked about the three of you with the addition of her Grandchild. Kim just beamed with pride. She touched the life of many students and parents in her short life but what a gift she was to all.

I am sure that as time passes your sorrow will be eased with wonderful memories of happier times. As you share stories of Kim with family and friends remember that her love will always be with you. May those memories and thoughts bring you some peace and comfort.

I am sorry that I am unable to attend Kim's wake or Funeral Mass but I will be with you in thought and prayer.

Blessings and Peace,
Pat Kahl

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Kim was a wonderful woman, and an amazing teacher. She taught all of my children at Our Lady of Knock, and now both of my daughters are teachers. She will be sorely missed. She touched many lives and was well loved, but her spirit will live on through those she touched.
