Lawrence "Larry" K. Hine

CROWN POINT, IN - Lawrence "Larry" K. Hine, 80, of Crown Point, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Patricia; his children: Paula (Richard) Remesnik of Lowell, David (Susan) of Chicago, Michael (Tammy) of Noblesville, Amy (Peter) Noverr of Colorado and Joseph of Indianapolis; grandchildren: Morgan, Marissa and Madison Hine, Zac Remesnik, Emma, Eben and Owen Noverr, Leah and Nathan Hine; siblings: Jeannette Wobith of North Judson, William of Lowell and Raymond (Linda) of Franklin. He was preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Lemke.

"Larry the Barber" was owner of Larry's Barber Shop in Crown Point for 60 years and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Lowell.

An avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer, Larry was a true outdoorsman. One of the founding members of the Lowell chapter of Ducks Unlimited, he frequently spent days outside with his buddies and his bird dogs. More recently, he could be found quietly casting his reel at the lake or taking in some sunshine on the golf course. Larry also enjoyed traveling and socializing with his many friends. Larry's greatest joy in life was his large family. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Private Cremation through SHEETS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Lowell, with Public Services to be held when COVID restrictions are lifted.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Larry's name to St. Edward Catholic Church, 216 S. Nichols St., Lowell, 46356.

Roberta just let Denice and I know of Larry´s passing! I am so glad we enjoyed you both at Jeanette´s those fun times. Our sincere condolences Pat and family, Jeanette, Billy Bob and Ramey! God Bless!

I´m so shocked and saddened to hear of Larry´s passing. He was a great and fun loving guy!!! I have many wonderful memories of Larry, Pat and their children Sending love , hugs and prayers to all RIP Larry

Tom and I offer sincere condolences to the family. I have known Larry for a long, long time. He used to cut my son's hair and he worked side by side with my ex father in law, Herb Buche, until Larry purchased the shop. He will be greatly missed.,

I am so saddened to read of this dear man's death! What a sweet, good, life-appreciating soul he was! May the Lord Jesus welcome him into Eternity, and comfort you who love him so. We lost a good man, but we are enriched by his influence and light!
