Ms. Barker was my History teacher at Roosevelt in the 80s. She worked with my father and they were part of the Social Studies Department. She was tough and had high expectations for her students at Roosevelt. Rest well in heaven.

I only just learned of the death of my co-worker and team teacher partner of more than 20 years from the Miller Next Neighbor site. We had a very long and enjoyable talk prior to her entering a nursing facility. There were many times that I couldn“t decide if we were co-workers, friends or family. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

We were saddened to hear of Lida's passing. It was always a joy to see Robert and Lida in the office for many years. She was such an energetic, passionate lady. She was very dedicated to her causes as most wonderful people are. May she rest in peace.
