He leaves to cherish his memory: three sons: Mark Diggs of Gary, IN, Gregory Lee Diggs of South Korea and Tony Young Diggs of DeKalb, IL; one granddaughter, Nia Deloras Diggs of Hammond, IN; two brothers Michael (Delia) Diggs of Willingboro, N.J. and Corey (Barbara) Diggs of Hammond, IN; sisters, Diane (Leroy) Rogers of Gary, IN, Emogene (James) Hicks, Yolanda (Stanley) Steele and Vetra Diggs-Holmes all of Hammond, IN; Aunts and Uncles Mary (Aaron) Richardson; also his Godparents Charlene Barkey, Amos (Emma) Baarkey, all of Hammond, IN, Herman (Geraldine) Phillips of Texas, James (Janet) Barkey of Ville Platte, L.A., Myrtle Dennis, Mable Alexander and Bessie Babino all of L.A.; 21 nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; and God sister Victoria Caldwell of Gary, IN. Other relatives and friends, fiance, Nancy Frieson and son Dondre'Frieson, close and dear friends Benjamin (Buddy) Dennis, James Hicks, Robert Powell, Don and Demetrius Richardson and close neighbor Shelly Wilburn; and a host of other friends. Funeral services are Saturday, May 1, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Herman M.B. Church, 3601 Pennsylvania Ave., East Chicago, IN. Eulogy by Elder Michael Diggs of Willingboro, NJ.
