Mario Donato Pisani, age 98, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Mario was born on September 12, 1927 in Italy. He was raised in Italy by his mother Carmela.
Mario was married to Dolores (nee Stefanelli) for 58 years before she passed in 2011. He had three children: Michael (deceased), Denise, and Linda; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Mario was a veteran of the Korean War, and retired after 46 years from Gary Sheet and Tin Mill. He was a dedicated member of the Sons of Italy and the Knights of Columbus, and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crown Point.
Mario enjoyed cooking, playing Bocce, listening to classical music, and watching Cubs baseball.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, October 28 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Knights of Columbus Service to begin at 7:30 pm.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, October 29 at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home with Deacon Brian Nosbusch officiating. Interment to follow at City of Crown Point Historic Maplewood Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.
