Sending caring thoughts your way during this difficult time. I used to always see your dad around town & at an occasional yard sale; he was always kind. Hope you are doing well, haven't seen you in a few years. Take care.

Mrs. Vine, Sara Lou, Missy, and Buckwheat;
My thoughts and prayers are with you all of you. Hopefully you can take some comfort in knowing what a great mad "Fat Daddy" was. he touched so many lives. I have so many great memories of him and know that he is up in the skybox seats with my parents watching our kids play ball now. I am sure they are talking softball and laughing at all the crazy times we had. I can still hear him telling us "there's no crime to riding the pine". I could go on forever, but please remember even though he will be missed greatly, he will never be forgotten as he is in your hearts forever. Love you like family!!

Mrs. Vine & Family:

Sorry just does not seem like enough at a time like this. Losing a loved one is a difficult thing especially when it is your husband/father.

May the journey that you will have to emotionally travel from this point on become a journey of healing.Keep the memories close & dear to your heart. Do not be afraid to laugh & to cry.

I have very fond memories of Mr. Vine during my high school softball career.There was never a game he missed.He was always quick with advice and the biggest fan you could ever ask for!!!

If I was ever to run into him as an adult.... he always shared the story of how Sara had to borrow my mit-and the coach wanted me to go into the game but I couldn't because ....Sara had my mit!!!!!! He would just laugh.

What a great person....

Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Sara and Family,
What wonderful memories I have of Mr. Vine and all the great Robertsdale softball years. Words cannot do justice to the man who was always smiling, always laughing, and always joking. What a wonderful role model for all of us growing up together. May you all cherish the loving memories you shared. I will always smile when I think of him.
