Marlene Diane Mitchell (Williams)

Marlene Diane Mitchell (Williams), 82 years old of Merrillville, IN passed away surrounded by family on Thursday,, October 16, 2025.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marie Williams, and her brother, Charles (Pat) Williams. Marlene is survived by her loving husband of almost 59 years, Earl Mitchell and their three children, Michelle Pinkerton, Diane Orosz (Joe), and Earl Mitchell II. Marlene had six grandchildren, Ethan Pinkerton (Rebecca Gavel), Nolan Pinkerton, Zoe Orosz, Gabriella Orosz, Gianna Orosz, and Alexia Orosz. Marlene had so many friends and family members that loved and adored her. Marlene was an incredibly hard working woman. She would give anything and everything to help the ones she loved. She loved hard and she worked hard. Marlene took every opportunity to show how much she cared. Marlene was fluent in Spanish and was an Interpreter for the court at a young age. She loved to dance. She loved when her granddaughters would put on her favorite songs and dance with her. She attended every event for her children and grandchildren. Marlene will be forever missed and the way she loved will live on in her family and friends forever.

Friends are invited to visit with Marlene's family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon. At rest, Memory Lane Cemetery.
