Mary Sirounis Obituary
MUNSTER, IN - Mary G. Sirounis, 87, of Munster, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her sons, Danny (Lori) Sirounis and Bobby Sirounis; grandchildren, Maria Sirounis and Costa Sirounis; siblings, Kostoula (late Antonios) Gamilis, Kathy (late James) Coulis, Peter (Andrea) Sellis and, Anna (late William) Kokotis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gust Sirounis; parents, Diamantis and Antonia Sellis; brother, George (Faye) Sellis.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 pm with Trisagion at 6:00 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Memorial contributions to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in her memory would be appreciated.
Mary and her husband Gust, were proud owners of the Commander Restaurant. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptochos Society. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. www.kishfuneralhome.net.
