Mary Norma Williams CARMEL, IN - Mary Norma Williams, age 82 of Carmel, IN passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born on December 15, 1935 to Ronald O. and Edna M. (Malcolmson) Bassett. She graduated from Kokomo High School, Class of 1953 and went on to Indiana University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics and met her future husband. Over the years she worked for Mays, U.S. Steel, and also for her husband's medical practice. She formerly resided in Northwest Indiana, Chicago, and Indianapolis. She was a member of the Lakes of the Four Seasons Garden Club and the Lakes of the Four Seasons Bridge Club. Mary enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, dancing and traveling around the world. She is survived by three sons, Dr. Chuck (Jenny) Williams of Cicero, IN; Dr. Michael (Clifton Scott) Williams of Seattle, WA; Dr. Bruce (Pam) Williams of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, Ben (Rebecca) Williams, Jaan Williams (Priyanka Oberoi) , Zachary Williams (Nichell), Kaitlin Williams, and Erin Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Williams, DPM, her brothers, Charles and William Bassett, and her sisters, Ellen Petersen and Janet Henricks. Funeral services are Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at REES FUNERAL HOME, WINDFIELD CHAPEL, 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point.
