Mila Zarkovic, age 55, late of St. John, passed away August 15, 2011. Beloved wife of Isidor. Loving mother of Zoran and Goran. Dear daughter-in-law of Mila (late Zivadin) Zarkovic. Sister-in-law of Mica (Slobodan) Jovanovic. Aunt of Marko and Olga. Mrs. Zarkovic was an employee of Carl Buddig Co. She was a member of St. Simeon Church Circle of Serbian Sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011, 9:00AM at St. Simeon Mirotocivi Serbian Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Aleksandar Savic officiating. Interment at Most Holy Mother of God Cemetery, Third Lake, IL. Visitation Friday from 3:00-9:00 PM and Pomen Service at 7:30PM at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, IL. (773) 731-2749

Zarkovic Family,
On behalf of my family, I want to express our deepest condolences to all of you. I hope that the enormous love your family shares helps you get through this difficult time. Mila was an extraordinary person and she was loved by all. I have so many beautiful memories of her going all the way back to when I was a little girl. She has touched my heart in so many ways and I will never forget her. I will carry her spirit with me forever. Know that you are loved by so many people that feel your loss. We are all thinking of you and praying for you.

Dragi Sido i deco,
Moje iskrono saucesce no ovom vasem (i nasem) nenadoknadivom gubitku koji moze da bude ublazen samo vremenom i secanjem na nasu dragu Milu, na njenu humanost, njen vedri osmeh, njen patriotizam, njenu predanost da sve sto uradi bude na nivou savrsenstva, jednostavno na njen prepoznatljivi pecat (the Mila Zarkovic brand) koji je ostavila iza sebe i koji cemo vecno da pamtimo.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your wife and mother. Mila was an amazing woman - she had a heart of gold and she touched all those who knew her. Please know that you are not alone in your time of sorrow, your family and many friends are all here for you and will mourn along side you. Be comforted in knowing that she is in a place where there is no pain or sorrow and she will watch over all those dear to her. Vecnaja Pamjat!
