Milan Letic Obituary

Milan S. Letic Portage Milan S. Letic, age 58, of Portage, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at University of Chicago Medical Center. Born January 14, 1947 in Slavonska Pozega, Serbia, he came to the U.S. in 1976. He was a 28 year employee of U.S. Steel-Gary Works. Also, a dedicated gardener and soccer enthusiast. Milan is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mira Letic; two children: Natasa (Steve) Yuhasz and Steve Letic, both of Portage; siblings: Stana Letic and Stojan Letic, both of Serbia; dear niece, Dragana (Pejo) Miletic of Serbia and also many nieces, nephews, Kumovi and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Directly at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 8700 Taft Street, Merrillville, with V. Rev. Lazar Kostur officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by Savich & Semplinski Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, corner of 101st and Broadway, Merrillville/Crown Point. A Pomen Service will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
