I was fortunate enough to meet Nick at a time when he needed care at the dialysis clinic. I am a better person to have known him if even for a short while. I never met a more kinder spirit than Nicks. Ever so thoughtful for everyone else. He will surely be missed. It was my pleasure to have cared for him. I frequently told Nick I loved him. and he'd say it back. Which is not an ordinary thing to do because I'm a nurse and we are not supposed to have a relationship with our patients. But I disagree. I felt compelled to do it. In my heart I loved him and Pat. I'll keep him and the family in my prayers. I pray that God in all his glorious mercy and love takes Nick into heaven and keeps him in his loving arms until we meet again. So very sorry for your loss.

I knew Mr. Trgovich ("Nick", he'd let me call him) for many years. The Trgovich's are such wonderful people.

There are many stories I can share about Nick, but the one that shows what a man he was is when I asked him to consider installing an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the Pastrick Marina.

Nick fully embraced the idea. A year later a boater's life was saved by marina and security employees using that same AED.

Without Nick's full support, this would not have happened. But that's the kind of man Nick was. Always open to people's ideas and always willing to help others.

While I'm going to miss my good friend, I'll hold on to the many great memories of the kind of gentleman he was. Nick, vaya con Dios amigo...
