Norman Przewoznik, age 78, of Schererville, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. Norman is survived by his wife Janet (nee Lesniak) of 54 years, sons Anthony (Christine) and Matthew (Amanda), and grandchildren Justin Powell, Ava, and Josephine. He is preceded in death by parents Ignatz and Josephine Przewoznik (nee Imbiorski) and many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. Norman was a free-spirited soul. He enjoyed many memories with his wife, sons, brothers, sisters, and friends. Norman was raised in Munster, built his family in Hammond, then finally resided in Schererville. He worked at US Steel and finally Archdiocese of Chicago (Holy Cross Cemetery), where he retired in 2011. After retirement, Norman and Janet enjoyed travel, especially cruises. He enjoyed sitting in his backyard with Janet enjoying each other's company. Norman will be missed by many family and friends. Mass will be held at St. John Bosco, 7113 Columbia Ave. in Hammond at 11am on Saturday March 22, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his loving memory to a charity of your choice or the Share Foundation. Please leave concolences at www.burnskish.com.

To Norman's Family,
I am sorry to hear of Norman's passing. We knew each other as classmates at Saint Tom's way back in the 1950's. We shared Altar Boy duties together for Father Weiss. He was always a friend to anyone that needed a friend.
My prayers will be for you and your family.
