Dear Sue and Family,

Donna and I wish we could have extended our sympathy to you and your family personally. We are in Florida where we are caring for her aging mother.

Last fall when Palmer and I attended the Michigan - Notre Dame football game where his Wolverines thrashed my Fighting Irish, Palmer was as always a true gentleman.

I enjoyed a truly professional working relationship with Palmer. I will miss him.

God bless all of you!

Palmer was truly THE gentleman at Briar Ridge CC. He always made a point to say "hello" and "goodbye" (as well as "have a good game out there"). Palmer was definitely one of the members that ALWAYS put a smile on everybody's faces. He will surely be missed.

Dear Sue and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. We mourn with you here from England. We will miss our little email correspondence in which, both he and Sue were so lovely to us and loved hearing about their great-great-nephew. We will remember the kind, sweet and smiling man fondly.

It has truely been an honor to know such a gentleman as Palmer Singleton. Of all the people I have passed in my life, I can count on one hand those who could have such impact on peoples lives. Palmer had the unique ability to make everyone around him better, just by his presence, and I have been blessed to be able to call him "friend".

I have known Mr. Singleton for 20 years, while working at Briar Ridge Golf Country Club. He always had a smile on hs face, as he would pull up in his blue Michigan College golf cart. He always had a kind word for myself and my employees. He will be sadly missed. Our prayers go out to Susie and her family.
