PAUL A. FURMAN VALPARAISO, IN Devoted father, brother, and uncle, Paul "Nate" Furman died peacefully, surrounded by family, in Naples, FL on Sunday evening, May 7, 2017 at the age of 56. Paul is survived by his daughters, Rachel and Dana Furman. In addition to his daughters, Paul is survived by his wife, Diane Palmer; brothers: Charles (Susan) Furman, Jim (Terri) Furman; sisters: Donna Vincent, Patricia (Damon) Humphreys; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Donald C and Theresa Furman; sister, Diane Newman. Paul was born on September 6, 1960 in Buffalo, NY and raised in Valparaiso, IN where he graduated high school in 1978. He moved to Denver, CO in 1982 where he had a career in sales and as an entrepreneur. Paul was an avid golfer and played many rounds of golf at courses in Denver. He loved his family, and was an excellent listener to many that he befriended. He will be deeply missed by many. A private cremation was held. A Memorial Mass with be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso IN on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Michael Hoffman officiating.
