Paul Neylon Obituary

Paul Francis Neylon Wisconsin / Merrillville Paul Frances Neylon, age 80, of Hancock, WI, passed away in Merrillville, IN on Saturday, October 9, 2004 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Marie Neylon (nee Tyma). Paul is survived by his daughter Marybeth Neylon Koos; son, Francis, J. (Mary) Neylon; grandchildren, Allison Anne Koos (Luke Bruhns), Christa Quinne Koos, Delia Marie Neylon and John Paul Neylon; sister, Eileen Fortaine; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was a decorated Marine Veteran of WWII, a loyal retired union member of Pipefitters Local 597, and an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Adams. WI. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN on Monday, October 11, 2004 from 2 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Adams, WI. Interment in St. Leo's Cemetery in Friendship, WI.

I'll always remember Uncle Paul coming to pick me up on Saturday mornings to bring me back to the house to clean. Of course he always brought me White Castles in the middle of the day.

I miss those days.
