I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I knew Paul since I was on the Track and Cross Country teams at Thornridge. I worked for him during the summers in the South Holland Parks & Recreation program. He was a great guy. My sincere sympathies go out to his entire family.

I reported to Paul when I worked for South Holland Parks and Recreation Department. He was very kind to me as well as to my family. It was wonderful to work for Paul, because whenever I came up with an idea, he always allowed me to go forward and make it happen. What I appreciated the most was how he permitted the formation of the Challenger Little League team under the auspices of the SHPR. Challenger Little League meant the world to the players with various disabilities and their families. Without Paul's support this program as well as many others would not have been possible. Paul always wanted the best for all children.

Many high school and college kids were lucky enough to have Paul as their first boss. He was a great example of what a team leader should be. My deepest condolences to Bill, Michael, and all who loved Paul.
