Paul Wright Obituary

On January 15, at 1:20 p.m. Paul peacefully passed from death into life surrounded by his family.

Paul's life was defined by kindness and giving. He served others as he served His Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. He loved his family deeply and made friends his extended family. If he knew of a need, he sought to meet it as quietly as possible. He wanted no acknowledgement and often provided secretly to avoid it. Throughout his cancer treatment, he remained joyful and positive. He laughed and joked with family and medical staff. He loved being with people, in spite of his illness. He was careful to thank others for anything done on his behalf, no matter how small. His days were laced with prayer for others. He would pray for the stranger in a passing ambulance, or an accident. He would stop and silently pray over a difficult work issue, for a stressed coworker, for those who were ill or had lost loved ones. He loved to coach. Baseball, softball, but especially bowling. He loved music of all kinds but especially southern Gospel. He wanted everyone to know the Lord Jesus as he did. He was far from perfect but he was being refined by the process of life on earth. Now he has been welcomed into paradise by his Savior and heard the words, Well done, good and faithful servant.

He would want the same for you!

He is survived by his wife Dena. Also surviving are children: Elizabeth (Eric) Moll, Josh (Amanda) Wright. Brothers: Kenneth (Celia) Hochstetler, Dan (Joyce) Kraly Sr. Grandchildren: Mason Moll, Maegan (Christian) Wayne, Janessica Wright. Also survived by numerous friends who were chosen as family.

Paul was such a brilliant and compassionate person - a true genius with a genuinely caring heart. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the love he shared, the kindness he showed, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. With heartfelt sympathy to the family

I knew Paul as Todd. His witness of his beliefs in his life, I believe, had everything to do with his actions. As I knew him, he was soft spoken. His will to always be there to help, and the fact that he was a friend to all was a testimony in its own way of witnessing to others, which in the end is the best way to spread Jesus´s message to as many as possible. The world has lost a friend and heaven has gained a wanted member!

Paul:
A soldier has not fallen, but given a place to rest,
Until the remnant soldiers, have met and passed their test.
Then we all shall gather, to worship God and sing,
As we lavish our gifts and precious crowns, before THE king of Kings!
We´ll not be drawn away, nor turn our gaze aside,
But focus on our master, who is our joy and pride!
He fought our battles, cleansed our sins and won our long fought war,
He died our death and rose to life, to reign forevermore.
Paul´s journey now is finished, his works do show his faith,
Eternally to walk with HIM and see him face-to-face.

He would often be our first person to greet us as we walked into church, open the door for us and welcome us in to God´s house

His heart for serving the Lord has truly made an impact on me and inspires me to be more like him, in honoring and serving Jesus
