I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis sudden passing. I would love to have seen her one more time before she passed. She was a wonderful, wonderful lady and meant so much to my dad and my grandparents. Now she is with them again and she will be an angel to your family while here in earth. Love to you all.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mrs Curtis always made me smile every morning when I rode the school bus to Fieler. She was the best school bus driver. I remember there were times that my friend Tracy and I would walk over and she would let us get on the bus a little early. Very warm, caring, loving...that's Mrs Curtis. She loved her job and it showed and we loved her. I haven't had the chance to see her in years but we've been in touch on Facebook (not the same). Heaven has truly gained another angel. She will be deeply missed. I am so very sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Phyllis Curtis was a special lady. She attended as many of her grandchildrens events as possible and, being a close friend of her daughters, thats how I got to know her. Her smile and laughter was contagious and her fierce love for her family was obvious. I grieve with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and the entire family and friends as they part, for now, from this woman they held so dear. Rest in the arms of Jesus, Phyllis.

I have very fond memories of Mrs Curtis. Not only was she a neighbor but she was my school bus driver during my elementary years at Fieler. She was loving, caring, kind, gentle soul. I had not seen Mrs. Curtis in years until I saw her at church one Sunday. She was the same as she always was.....that wonderful smiling, loving and kind person as I always knew her to be. She made most of my days of my very young life in grade school good days besides seeing my mothers face first thing in the morning she was the second motherly face I would see getting on the bus and it was very comforting to me. I do hope she realized what an impact she had on not just myself but I am sure other young girls and boys she greeted with that smile. She was truly and angel that god put on this earth. "For god so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". Prayers of peace to the Curtis family to heal your broken hearts.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this special lady. She made us laugh, cry, smile, and so much more. She gave great advice. Loved to shop--cook--and just enjoy life. She and mom loved time they spent together. It was fun to just watch the two of them enjoy each other. It was an honor to be a part of that group. She loves the Lord with all her heart---and we know she is rejoicing with her Savior. Praying for you Phil, Cathy, Beth, Jerry and all the other family members. Our loss is truly Heaven's gain. Sending our love the Klahn children, Dewey, Debbie and Diane

I still have to call her Mrs Curtis. I loved her. She was a true servant of the Lord. Not only that, but I remember growing up, how kind she was to me and my siblings, when some of our neighbors looked down on us. May God comfort your family. I will never forget you.

Dear Beth and family,
We are so saddened to hear of the loss of your mom. We both met her and your dad at the Merr. Christian Church where they welcomed us.
She truly showed her Christian faith through her kindness and love. I hardly saw her without a smile on her face.
It won't be long as we will all be reunited in Heaven. May God give you extra comfort during this dark night, the sun will come out again for you.
Love, Fr. Phillip and Diane Drennan

I was so saddened by this news and have been thinking of the entire family. Im thankful I got to visit with Phyllis and Phillip on my last visit home. I still have the Cinderella watch she gave me when I was a child and will always cherish it and the time I got to spend with her. Im sorry I cant be there to say goodbye.
