Rade Obradovic Obituary
Rade Obradovic, age 89, of Highland, passed away July 19, 2011. He is survived by his three loving children: Smiljana (George) Pilja and Brana Obradovic both of Naperville, IL, and Dragan (Bogdanka) Obradovic of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren: George, Mark, Danica, and Dragana; and one great grandson, Dimitrije Tkchenko. Preceded in death by his wife, Milica. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Schererville with V. Rev. Dobrivoje Milunovic officiating. At rest St. Sava Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. There will be a visitation Friday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. Rade was a founding member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Schererville. He was a retired employee of the Blaw Knox Foundry in East Chicago. Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, Schererville in charge of arrangements (219) 322-6616.
