Raymond Bilinski Obituary
June 20, 1935 - Aug. 24, 2023
CALUMET CITY, IL - Raymond G. Bilinski, age 88, of Calumet City, IL passed away August 24, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Casimira (née Palusiak); daughter, Anne Marie (Patrick) Lucchetti; grandchildren, Glacia Rose Lucchetti and Grant Lucchetti; nieces and nephews; dear friend, Chester Mazur. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Sobestyan and Magdalena (née Drozdowicz); sister, Helen; brother, Stanley and nephew, Dennis.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 9:45 a.m. from CASTLE HILL FUNERAL HOME: 248 155th Place, Calumet City, IL 60409 to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial followed by Interment Services at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Raymond honorably served in the United States Army. He retired from United Parcel Service and was a member of the Calumet City Historical Society and the Lionel Train Club.

Nearly 30 years ago, Ray Bilinski and his wife Kasia helped me take care of my daughter Delilah when she was only 8 months old, and her mother was gravely ill in the hospital. I will never forget, not can I ever repay, the love and kindness Ray and Kasia showed me and my family at that tragic time in our lives.
I will miss Ray's sense of humor and his jolly voice. He was always a happy and gregarious presence at all of my family's parties over the years.
May he rest in peace and my deepest sympathies to his wife Kasia and to his daughter Ann Marie.
