Rita Pfeiffer

1932 - 2025

Our beloved mother, Rita Pfeiffer, 92, of Lynwood Illinois passed away on October 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by Robert, her husband of 70 years. She is also survived by her children, Cheryl Ruthrauff, Robert (Debbie), Kathleen (Robert) Belzeski, Susan (Mike) Kaczmarczyk, Kenneth, and Thomas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Her sisters Andrea (Bob) Warmus and Holly (Dominic) Tocci and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine Czarny and her brothers Alex, John, Robert, Norbert, and her sisters Cecilia, Helen and Barbara. She was an angel on earth and now an angel forever in heaven. She will be greatly missed. A funeral mass will be held on November 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Knock Church, 163rd St, Calumet City, IL 60409. Visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the mass. A private burial will follow.
