Robert Michael Marovich Sr.

Robert Michael Marovich Sr., age 83, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Robert is survived by his children: Robert M. (Laurel Delaney) Marovich Jr., John R. (Susan) Marovich, Julie A. Matthews, Bryan F. (Tanya Mueller) Marovich; grandchildren: Mackenzie Marovich, Colton Matthews, Kacey Marovich, Dean Matthews; and sister, Joan Bukowski.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Diana (Pilarczyk) Marovich; parents: Michael and Josephine Marovich; and sister, Patricia Urbanczyk.

Robert worked for John B. Sanfilippo for over 25 years. He was a devout member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and also St. Matthias Catholic Church where he found great comfort and friendship in the Widow and Widowers Group.

Robert was proud of his heritage and even earned the nickname "Polish Prince".

He enjoyed cheering on and coaching all of his children in their sports. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be dearly missed.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 13, 2025 at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307 from 9:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Robert's name to the St. Matthias Catholic Church (For the Widow and Widowers Group).
