My condolences to the Pierce family. Bob was my boss at The Commercial Bank when I started at the Independence Hill Branch in 1969. We worked together for many years, and I remember he had a love for all things IU, playing golf and reading the Wall Street Journal. A bow tie was always part of his work attire. I especially admired how he volunteered so many hours at St. Anthony's hospital in his retirement years. If heaven has a golf course, I imagine he's playing with Earl Martin, Al Averbeck and some of his other Youche friends. Many your happy memories sustain you in the days and weeks ahead.

God Bless Bob's family. I was a young IU grad when I met Bob at The Commercial Bank as their key information technology provider owned by Urschel Labs. He was always gracious to me and helped me grow into a better business man.
