Robert Uremovich

Robert John Uremovich Crown Point Robert John Uremovich, age 84 of Crown Point, passed away at his home Friday, February 4, 2005. Robert was the owner and operator of Hobart Meats and Locker for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his son George Uremovich; parents Pete and Frances; sisters Katie and Margaret; brothers Emil, John and George. Robert was an avid supporter of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's athletics. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was truly a Hard Working Man! Mr. Uremovich is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ann; six children: Mary Ann (Jim) Wiggins of Merrillville, Pete (Suzy) Uremovich of Valparaiso, Katie (Bill) Zolla of Evanston, IL, Michael Uremovich of Manhattan, IL, Bob (Lu Ann) Uremovich of LaPorte and Maggie (Gary) St. Germain of Hebron; 18 grandchildren: Scott (Sandy) Wiggins, Tina (Gregg) St. Germain, Kathy (Greg) Wilburn, Mike (Katie) Uremovich, U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Matt (Melissa) Uremovich, Meghan Uremovich, Bethany Uremovich, Jill (Dave) Volk, Jon Uremovich, Michelle Uremovich, David Uremovich, Dylan Uremovich, Robert St. Germain, Kristin St. Germain, Sammy St. Germain, William (Gavi) Zolla, Brad (Carolyn) Zolla and Brett (Ann) Zolla; 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville with Rev. David H. Gosnell officiating. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home Sunday, February 6, 2005 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Disease Foundation or the Porter County VNA Hospice Home Care.
