RONALD JACOBS

Ronald L. Jacobs NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX - Ronald Lee Jacobs, 82, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in North Richland Hills, TX. Ron was born February 18, 1936 in Lacona, Iowa to Robert and Juanita Jacobs. He attended Simpson College where he met Nancy Goodwin. They married in 1959 and had one daughter. Ron served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1960 and was stationed most of that time at the former Nike site in Munster, IN. Ron was a 1964 graduate of Valparaiso University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He joined Northern Indiana Public Service Company that year and advanced through various positions in the organization during his 28 years of service. Ron attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, doing puzzles and working on the computer. Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Jacobs; daughter, Lila Santoro; and grandchildren, Abbey, Nick and Kate Santoro. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
