Ruby Hile Obituary
Ruby Hile (nee Fivecoat), age 81, of Highland, formerly of Hessville, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born on September 7, 1931 in Lake City, AR to Tom and Vaudine Fivecoat. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Buddy Fivecoat; and her first husband and true love, Wayland Hodge. Ruby is survived by her beloved children: Rickey (Denise) Hodge and Connie (Randy) Rasberry; adored grandchildren: Jason (Kim) Rasberry, Melissa (Corey Zinmer) Rasberry, David (Ruby) Hodge, Phillip (Brandy) Hodge, and Heather (Matt) Starkey; fond great grandchildren: Morgan, Ella, Mason, Ethan, baby Rasberry-Zinmer, Makayla, Amy, Caleb, Dylan, Jake, Bradley, Amber, and Cheyenne. Ruby was a custodian of the Hammond School system for several years until retiring in 1991. A special thank you to Chris, Catherine, and Christy from Hospice who cared for Ruby like she was their own loved one. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Calumet Area, 600 Superior Ave., Munster, IN 46321. Private arrangements entrusted to Castle Hill Funeral Home of Dyer, IN. Grandma Ruby,
I am so glad you were able to meet my boys, wish you could have met matt. Im going to miss you like crazy! I remember smelling breakfast cooking when we used to visit, or brownies for dessert. We love you and until we meet again, please watch over the family. Hugs and Kisses!!

Grandma Ruby i know youll be missed very much and Ill never ever forget all the times we had fun when i was little man you use too fix us grandkids brownies and i can smell them right now now. please wacth over mom and dad and connie and randy and grandkids and great grandkids i love you but we will see each other again in after life.
