Joan:
The thumbnail review that you gave of your father's life and relationship to his children was beautiful. It was easy to see that there is much love in you family. Continue to love and care for each other.

Seville will be sadly missed by me and my family. He was like a member of the family and a neighbor beyond compare.
Rest in Peace, Seville. Maybe you and Mommy can continue your arguments now.
We'll miss you.

When I read in the obituaries that Seville Morales has gone home to be with those who he loves in heaven, a flood of childhood memories came to mind. Some of my earliest where when my father Salvador Vargas would go each Saturday morning to hang out with his buddies Seville and Andy at the Texaco gas station that they owned. I would often as a teen ride the 11th aveune bus into downtown Gary to shop and I would always look over to the gas station where I would often see both Seville and Andy and there too was my father washing and waxing his Buick. Oh how he just beamed about his two friends and we as children and teens loved to hear the stories he would come home with.
Once I graduated form high school, my first job was with Texaco Oil Company where I was a billing clerk. There I was surprisingly please to see your father's payments come through. It made me smile. God Bless you all with love and peace as you heal in this time of sorrow. May Seville Morales rest in Heavenly peace.

Your face, your voice, and even your handwriting will always be familiar to me. Thankfully, your suffering is over, though the reality is bitter. Be at peace and know your children are in contact with and are grateful to have each other. Your daughter Donna.
