Apr 3, 1950 - May 24, 2025
Sharon J. Barcinski (nee Wadas), age 75, of Merrillville, IN, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jim Barcinski; son, Jonathan Barcinski; and 5 grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: John and Jennie Wadas.
Sharon attended Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church in Portage, IN. She retired from the medical field where she worked as a X-Ray Technician at several local hospitals. Sharon currently worked at Meijer's in Merrillville, IN.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Geisen-Pruzin Funeral & Cremation Services, 6360 Broadway Ave., Merrillville, IN 46410 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Additional visitation will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd, Portage, IN 46368 from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Kevin McCarthy officiating and Fr. Jerry Schweitzer concelebrating.
Services will conclude at the Church and burial will be private for Sharon's family.
