SHIRLEY ANN HARMAN

Shirley Ann Harman WANATAH, IN - Shirley Ann Harman, 81of Wanatah, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born May 29, 1936 in Clayton, IL to Roy and Bessie (Stewart) Kendrick. Shirley worked for 19 years at TP Labs, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Wanatah Christian Church and was very dedicated to her church and family. Shirley enjoyed working outside, gardening, reading, and watching movies. On May 30, 1954 in Clayton, IL, Shirley married Richard Harman who preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by her children, Roger Harman, Roy (Penny) Harman, Rick Harman, Rhonda (Rick) Deutscher, and Rosalyn (Steve) Conley; 15 grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Zelma Harman and Barbara Kindhart. Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2018 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Wanatah Christian Church 1100 W. US 30, Wanatah with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Wanatah Christian Church.
