Stephen Davis Obituary
Stephen Lee Davis, 20, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 in East Chicago, IN. He was born September 25, 1993 to Serrena Lovelace and Terrance Davis, Sr. in Gary, IN. He was raised in East Chicago, IN and attended East Chicago Public Schools. Stephen loved playing football and basketball and also enjoyed listening to music. Stephen had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor, very compassionate and he was always smiling. He leaves to cherish his memories mother, Serrena Lovelace (Eddie Davenport) of East Chicago, IN; father, Terrance Davis, Sr. of St. Paul, MN; siblings: D'Andree' Lovelace of Milwaukee, WS; Terrance Davis, Jr. of East Chicago, IN; Stacey Lovelace of Gary, IN; Lamar Davis (Cesalii Reed) of Fort Worth, TX; Justiss Johnson of East Chicago, IN and Shauntel Davis. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 3601 Pennsylvania Ave. East Chicago, IN. Visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Darnell Johnson officiating. Fern Oaks Internment. Divinity Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Hey son it's been a month and guess what yep still crying. I MISS YOU so much especially at night when it's time to go to bed i wait on you each and every night. My son my son my presious son you don't know how much I love and miss you! The tears hurt and pain is ENDLESS! There is not a day that goes by that I don't lay in your bed and cry. If I had only known that may 3rd was going to be my last day with you I would have held on to you a little longer. A piece of me died with you my son I love and miss you dearly love your mother!
