Stephen Yeager, age 74, of Hebron, Ind., passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Stephen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and humor touched all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Yeager; children, Rick (Nichole), Bob (Cara), and Ryan; grandchildren, Desiree, Emily, Aiden, Lexie, and Lyla; great-granddaughter, Amelia; sister-in-law, Geri Martin who we are grateful to have had in the last few years; honorary grandson, Zach Sternberg; and his faithful furry friend, Holly. He is also survived by a host of other beloved loved ones, friends, and colleagues who will cherish his memory.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Mariam; father, Leland; stepfather, Richard Daitchman; and great-granddaughter, Leilani.

For more than 40 years, Stephen worked as a dedicated fashion salesman, building lifelong relationships through his professionalism, kindness, and charm. Outside of his career, Stephen was a passionate sports fan, always cheering on his Chicago Bears, Chicago White Sox, and Indiana Hoosiers. His enthusiasm for the game and unwavering loyalty to his teams were just a few of the many things that defined his spirited personality.

Above all, Stephen cherished time with his family. He was a source of strength, love, and laughter, and his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.
