Steve Bartoszek Obituary
Steve E. Bartoszek, Jr., age 60, of Hammond, IN, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ruth; four stepchildren: Darla Michnick, John Garrett, Lori (Tony) Nagy and Richard (Alicia) Garrett; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Kathy (Tom) Calvin and Milli (Joseph) DesCamp; one brother, Jim (Toni) Bartoszek; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents: Steve E. Sr. and Katherine Bartoszek. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Ave., Hammond, IN (two blocks east of Hohman; one block north of Gostlin) with Rev. Stephen Kosinski officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Bartoszek was a lifelong Hammond Resident. He was a retired employee of Inland Steel with 32 years of service and an Army veteran of Vietnam. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Please omit flowers.

It s with great sadness that my wife and I have learned of Steve's passing.We met him several times at his sisters, Millie, home. The love and close relationship that was so evident between family members will make his loss more painful but will comfort you during this most difficult time.
