Steven Robin Obituary

STEVEN LOUIS ROBIN GRIFFITH, IN Steven Louis Robin, age 19, of Griffith, IN, went to heaven on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was born in Chicago, IL, on July 29, 1992. Steven's life may have ended too soon, but those who were touched by him, understand that the quality of life far exceeds quantity of time in which you live it. We will always remember his laugh, smile and ability to "fix" everything. He could fix your roof if it had a leak, or fix your mood if you were having a bad day. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly. Steven will always remain in our hearts. He is survived by his parents: Kathleen and Louis Robin; maternal grandparents: Neil and Donna O'Keefe; brother, Ryan Robin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mary Ellen and Louis Robin. Visitation Monday, February 13, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Church of the Annunciata. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Edward Tlucek, OFM officiating. Cemetery private. Steven has changed a lot of peoples lives now and was chosen from God for a reason. Will we ever know? No. But make the best of what he has given us which is love and strength that will always be with us forever. He will never be forgotten and wants us all to be happy and we must carry that with us FOREVER. I love you Steven and always will.

Ms. Robin,
I'm not quite sure if you remember me or not. However, Steven and I were best friends in 3rd grade. We became friends because the Zupan's are my neighbors. Steven is someone I think about every now and again and am very sorry to hear about his loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers in this very rough time. He was a great person and friend and someone I'll never forget.
