Mrs. Levenberg was a beautiful lady both in physical and spiritual ways. When I worked for the Jewish Federation, she performed many kind acts with no expectation,in fact forbidding, any public thanks. May her family be comforted among the mourners in Zion and know no further sorrow.

My memories of Thelma were watching her at the weddings and family celebrations with her family. I am not a relative, but have very vivied memories of this remarkable lady. I watched a video of Thelma making strudel (years ago) which inspired me and gave me the courage to make it myself. In fact, I'm going to celebrate Thelma this week, at my home in Los Angeles and make her strudel for my friends and tell the story of Thelma.
