Thomas W. Rusch

THOMAS W. RUSCH CROWN POINT, IN Thomas W. Rusch, age 68, of Crown Point, formerly of East Side, passed away suddenly on Sunday January 22, 2012 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia; cherished children: Kelly (David) Migler of St. John, Tracey (Richard) Prodoehl of Crown Point, and Shannon (John) Jalocha of Crown Point; nine grandchildren: Kristi, Zachary, Chelsea, Joshua, Taylor, Jacob, Ryan, Jonathan, and Brooke; brother, James (Angie) Rusch of Crown Point; beloved cousin, Gerri (Terry) Messenich of Dyer; loyal friend, Thomas (Patti) Olzak of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, and brother and sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by son, John Rusch; and parents: William and Vuriel Rusch. Thomas was a retired chemical operator from Nalco Chemical of Chicago with many years of service. He recently had been volunteering at the Southlake YMCA of Crown Point. His main focus in life were his children and grandchildren. Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Drive, Crown Point (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services starting at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Ulrich officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
