Wallace Kotefka Obituary

WALLACE JOSEPH KOTEFKA UNION MILLS, IN Wallace Joseph Kotefka, 84, of Union Mills, IN, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Kindred Rehabilitation Center in Carmel, IN. He was born in Valparaiso, IN on November 12, 1931, the only child of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Guse) Kotefka. Wally retired from Midwest Steel following nearly 30 years of service. He and his unique sense of humor will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elsie (Squire) Kotefka; his daughter, Connie Kotefka of Carmel; his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Kotefka) and Gary Newman of Carmel; three grandsons: Ryan Newman of Fredricktown, OH, Chris Newman of Noblesville, IN, and Greg Newman of Marysville, OH; and three great grandchildren: Cole Daniel, Zoe Isabelle, and Quintin James. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to VNA Hospice, 2401 Valley Dr., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
